Comprehensive Semester Exam Project: This project will be worth at least 60% of your semester exam grade. You will be using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs to complete the project.
Grades will be calculated on:
1) Positive Employment Characteristics (does own work, uses time wisely and productively, does quality work, works well with others (not distracting), follows instructions, manages self, shows up for work and on time, professionalism, etc...)
2) Jobs 1-17; OMIT Jobs 10-15
These Jobs will be graded directly out of your network folder, unless you are specifically asked to print. Be sure to name each file correctly, and to save each in the Semester Exam Project folder.
The project should take approximately two weeks to complete, but will be done at your own pace. Due 12/18/09. You will also have daily grades taken over the jobs. The Employment Characteristics grade will be a test grade.
A solutions/sample manual is available, but yours should not be an exact duplicate of the examples provided. A FAQ Help File is available; check it for updates daily. Do your own work and be creative! Since this is such a large part of your overall grade, you will not be able to work on it outside of class, unless it is during supervised tutorials.
Games or surfing will not be allowed until this project is completed. After you are finished with the entire project, you will have a fun Animated PowerPoint project that will finish off the rest of the semester.
