Comprehensive Semester Exam Project

Comprehensive Semester Exam Project: The Semester Exam grade is worth 20% of your overall semester grade. You will be using word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, and presentation programs to complete the project.

Grades will be calculated on:
1) Positive Employment Characteristics (does own work, uses time wisely and productively, does quality work, works well with others (not distracting), follows instructions, manages self, shows up for work and on time, professionalism, etc...)
2) Create a Dream Team folder inside your network folder. Save all work into this folder using correct filenames. For more information see FAQ link.
3) Each Job will be printed and turned in when completed.
Each job's due date is listed in the FAQ Help File. The Employment Characteristics grade will be a test grade.

A solutions/sample manual is available, but yours MUST NOT be an exact duplicate of the examples provided. A FAQ Help File is available; check it for updates daily. Do your own work and be creative! Since this is such a large part of your overall grade, you will not be able to work on it outside of class, unless it is during supervised tutorials.

CATEMA

You are taking a class for which Killeen ISD has a local articulation agreement with Central Texas College or Temple College. CATEMA (Career and Technology Education Management Application) is a web-based tool designed to identify Career & Technology students who may have Tech Prep articulated credit in escrow. CATEMA helps to identify these students to college Advisors who will make sure they are advised appropriately.

In order to be eligible to receive college credit for having had this class, go to the CATEMA.website. If you have already used the CATEMA system, you will choose Student Login Assistant. If you have not already used the CATEMA system, you will choose New Students, Create Account.

If you decide to enter the Student ID # instead of the Social Security #, you will need to type in three zeros in front of your student ID# so that it will have the same number of digits as a Social Security number. For example, if your ID# is 333444, you would type in 000333444.
